Township of King

The township of King is located within York Region in the Greater Toronto Area with a population of approximately 20,000. Most of these people reside in the township’s main urban centres which include: King City, Schomberg, and Nobleton. King Township is well known for its lush topography of rolling hills and valleys, and its prize winning cattle farms, and world class horse farms. It is also the Equestrian Capital of the Country.

Residents enjoy a wide range of leisure activities at the Township’s abundant variety of parks, recreation and cultural facilities, including three arenas, Centennial Mountain ​​Biking Park, and Cold Creek Conservation Area. Other community and cultural facilities such as the King Township Museum, Community Halls and four full-service public libraries are all part of the offerings the Township provides.
